Desperately Seeking Flair

This is where I work. I spend all day sitting in front of a huge empty desk, staring at a huge empty wall. The other two women in my office have got electronic picture frames, lamps, globes, candy dishes...I feel significantly under-accessorized. SO...please leave your decor suggestions via comment. Gracias.

PS: for those who care, I really am loving my job! Aside from the bare desk, everything is going beyond splendidly!

...And I'm Out

Saturday was my last day at work, and I must say that it was bittersweet. I am so excited about what lies in front of me, but it was sad to leave behind a job that I've worked so hard at for so long as well as, more significantly, all the friends I've made. On Saturday night we had a little farewell dinner-

Aaron made me a custom card. Please note our spectacular dramatic performances. Also please note how short I am sans high heels.

Peace Out, Deciphered

I apologize for the cryptic nature of my previous post, I just don't want to go into too much detail before I've actually started the new trabajo. NO, I'm not moving...I am staying here in Provo. I will be working for the RBL Group, a business consulting company. But my main responsibility will be working with a company in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which means lots o' travel. More details to come...

Soccer Mom

I took a little time off from work this weekend to babysit for my three cousins. Since Mom and Dad were on vaca, I provided a vaca of my own- unrestricted Playstation, lunch at Carl's Jr., late bedtimes, and lots of dessert. My Pizookie was especially popular:

After our enormous treat we watched Planet Earth, where I was made aware (via text and call) of a local star sighting...and the boys thought it was very cool that Mary Jane from Spider Man was up where they go skiing. When Mom called to check in a few minutes later, all the boys felt it necessary to discuss were Kiki and dessert. Proof of my excellent parenting skills- calorie fests and celebrity gossip. Wonderful.

We had a lot of fun, but I have decided to put off having children of my own for another 10-20 years. I just don't really understand how moms do it. I wore only sweatsuits and ponytails all weekend..I couldn't ever shower because I was sure that as soon as I shut the bathroom door one of them would tumble down the brick stairs, stick their finger in a light socket, or throw the tv out the window. So feel free to ask me to babysit, but don't even bother asking when I plan on having my own :)
