Sneakers for Sneakers and a 24 hour trip home

On Wednesday got up close and personal with a certain Sundance owner as I helped him pick out some shoes, making me the official celebrity specialist at work :) Nice guy, size 9.5, prefers Adidas running shoes. Anyways, after work I drove up to Boise for Thanksgiving. My trip was short (I had to leave Thursday night), but it was a lot of fun. The food was delicious, the house was packed with cousins and aunts and uncles and siblings, and I finally got to see my family's new house. A few snapshots from the holidays:

Doing my best to look bitter and jealous

Robert Redford? Love it. Was he nice? I've heard he can be kinda grumpy. That's awesome though, I'm jealous.
PS Love the "up close and personal" reference. Clever. :)

I wish I could see your scarf up close. It looks adorable. Also, you seem to be famous among my friends. Haha.

Fun!

Sorry that it didn't work out for us to meet up... We left early Saturday morning to avoid traffic, but it didn't work...it took us 13 hours to get home.

HA! "Sneakers for Sneakers" You're a freakin' genius. Remember how everybody used to freak out when the Sundance Kid would grace us with his presence at Banana... and didn't Melissa make an encased shrine in the stock room with his half-empty coffee cup (aka: trash)?? I love it. I love you.

And I just noticed that you have Entourage on your tivo list... I always knew I liked you.

I am SO jealous--you met robbie r?! He is my idol. I'm really thinking I need to start working at the Orem Nordstrom shoe dept. to experience all these amazing celeb sightings. ps, did you get to touch his feet?

Btw, LOVE the Sneakers reference... I've heard that RR is fairly small in person. Did you think so? My mom had a MAJOR crush on him while she went to BYU and actually saw him shopping at Albertson's once, only to hide behind the bread aisle and watch him from afar! I'll have to tell her about your fabulously close encounter. :) Also, your family looks as fantastic as you are! Looks like a fun trip home!
