My dear BFFers Nat and Mikey were at the Inauguration on Tuesday, and when she called me on Monday night we joked about the odds of me spotting them amongst the crowd of 1.8 million peeps. The next day, I sent the following message:

That Natalie is a tuh-rip.
Michael actually responded. I had 2 pairs of gloves on and couldn't type. And a hat and earmuffs on so I couldn't call... and wasn't about to give up any of those force-fields of warmth. Michael made the sacrifice. Took off his gloves for YOU, Pingree.
