On the very first day of freshman orientation at BYU, I met Steven. We have been bff ever since, and this month he broke up with me and moved to Texas to get a fancy-schmancy phd in genetics. Down side: my tv/shopping/movies/eating/everything buddy has left me, but the plus side: he moved to Dallas (home of Neiman Marcus as well as a Sprinkles cupcake shop, so visiting might not be so bad), and his departure gave us an excuse to have an "Adios, Partner!" party with the Catanos. What does such a party entail? Dinner at Texas Roadhouse, western wear......and photos at the Wal Mart portrait center.

I don't even know where to start. Yes, these photos were taken at WalMart by a photog named....wait for it...Angel. Yes, I am tan as can be (this was two days after I got back from my week long vacay in California). Yes, Poppy is wearing a custom made onesie that Lindsay made with the state of Texas that says "I Love" and then a picture of Steven's face. And yes, we laughed to the point of tears all through the entire session, all through dinner, and when I picked up the prints and took them to Lindsay's birthday dinner.
