I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times again: I. LOVE. JERSEY. Ever since I saw MTV's True Life: I Have a Summer Share (not to be confused with the equally great True Life: I'm a Jersey Shore Girl), I have been obsessed with the world of fake tans, excessive hair products, skintight cheap clothing, and house music. What is there not to love? This the only, and I repeat ONLY, demographic that should be wearing Ed Hardy and trucker hats. And they wear it proudly.
Honest to goodness, the names: Jolie, J-woww, Snookie, Sammi, DJ Pauly D, Ronnie, Vinny, and (my personal favorite) "The Situation." I don't want to ruin the 2-hour premiere for those of you who haven't caught it yet, so all I will say is get ready for hot tub action, "guidos" and "guidettes," club hookups, "fist pumping," a love triangle, secret piercings, an awesome summer job at a tshirt store, projectile drunken vomiting, and....well, you can just imagine. I have been rocking out to the Christmas jams on Cozy 106.5 for weeks now. And I love singing my heart out to a silly little holiday ditty as I cruise around town to do all of my Christmas shopping. I have a friend who is from New Jersey. She grew up outside of NYC so she is more east coast prep. But her parents have since relocated to South Jersey & her family are all Italian (& PROUD!) and oh(!) the stories she has. You would be entertained for hours. It's amazing.
