The Legend of the Monte Cristo

Once upon a time, on a weekend trip to St George (which I mentioned almost 3 months ago), a car full of ladies stopped at the fine and fancy Timberline Restaurant. One member of the party informed the party that she had happened upon said restaurant a while back and was introduced to the most marvelous sandwich ever created.

The sandwich was known by the name of Monte Cristo, and is rumored to exist outside of the kingdom of Beaver. It consists of a ham, turkey, and cheese sandwich...dipped in its entirety in egg batter and deep fried. It is then dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of whipped cream and strawberries. I can honestly say that it is a treat to be treasured. So far, I have managed to exercise enough self control to not research out more local venues for the regular consumption of Monte Cristos....although I can't make any promises regarding my long term future.
